ABOUT US
We are a family that have made a tree change and have moved to a rural property in the stunning Manning Valley. In the past, while we were still living near Sydney, we decided to have a new puppy join our family. We did some research, had quite a few family discussions and decided that a Spoodle would be the ideal dog for us. This has honestly proven to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. Our Spoodle Dexter has been a companion, best friend and playmate to our three children for many years now. This is the main reason I have decided to breed Spoodles. As well as breeding Spoodles we run beef cattle and have a cat (Diva), horse (Tui), pony (Coco), and usually some chickens.
As a breeder I wanted to be not only responsible and ethical but also provide the best possible living conditions for my dogs. Golden Sun Spoodles is a family run business based on the principles of Holistic Management.
This means we have a decision-making framework that ensures our family's decisions are economically, environmentally and socially sound (i.e. the triple bottom line). Holistic Management enables us to develop and design our business and family property based on environmentally sound principles that recognise that processes and activities are interdependent.
On our 175 acre rural property we are essentially Grass farmers utilising the Sun's energy to naturally produce quality Grass-fed cattle. All our Dogs and Puppies are fed a diet that includes a large proportion of meat, bones and organs from our own locally grown home-killed cattle. They spend as much time outdoors in the Sun as possible and in winter when indoors they are kept warm and cool with power from our own Solar panels
Our logo of a friendly cartoon Spoodle framed by the Sun was created designed by my eldest son. The SUN being the giver of life itself, signifies Rebirth and Fertility and I am proud to claim that:
